Periodic Products Awarded Patent for Metal Isolation, Recovery & Recycling Using Metal-Binding Polymers

Periodic Products today announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued patent number 8,420,757, which covers implementation of the Company’s Chelok® metal binding technology to isolate, recover and recycle metals This proprietary technology has numerous applications in environmental remediation, mining and industrial processes. “We’re especially pleased with this technology’s potential for a multitude of environmental and industrial applications,” said Joseph Laurino, CEO and founder of Periodic Products. “This is the second patent relating to our Chelok technology – the fifth overall for the Company – and it continues to strengthen our growing intellectual property portfolio.”
Periodic Products Awarded Patent on Fundamental Technology for Metal Binding Polymers

Periodic Products today announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued patent number 7,964,688, which covers fundamental aspects of the Company’s Chelok™ metal binding technology. This proprietary technology is applicable to multiple metal binding applications in several areas, including water purification and treatment, mining operations, corrosion prevention, and plastic and fibers.
